Effective June 12, 2026
The short version: Leksika collects no data about you. None.
Nothing. Leksika has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. The app does not connect to any server we operate, because we do not operate any. The entire dictionary ships inside the app and works offline.
If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it. We have no copy; we never had one.
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, email address, or payment details. Purchase entitlements are verified on the device using Apple's StoreKit.
The dictionary is built from open data: OpenRussian, English and Russian Wiktionary (via the Wiktextract project), and Tatoeba example sentences, used under CC BY-SA 4.0 and CC BY 2.0 FR. This concerns the words in the app, not anything about you. The full database can be exported from the app's Acknowledgements screen.
Leksika does not collect data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Given the app's design, we do not expect it to change in substance.
