Common questions

How do I add the widget?

Touch and hold your Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for Leksika. For the Lock Screen: touch and hold it, tap Customize, and add Leksika under the clock. The word changes every 15 minutes, offline.

How do I switch between Learner and Эрудит?

Settings tab → Mode. Learner shows common words with English meanings; Эрудит shows elevated Russian words with Russian definitions. The widget and the daily notification follow your choice.

What do the levels mean?

For learners: I covers the core 2,000 most frequent words (about A1–A2), II the next 4,000 (about B1–B2), III advanced vocabulary (C1 and beyond). For Эрудит: I advanced, II literary, III rare.

The daily notification doesn't arrive

Check that notifications are allowed for Leksika in iOS Settings, and that the Daily Word toggle is on in the app's Settings tab. The notification carries the same word the widget shows at that moment.

How do I restore my purchase?

On the Leksika Pro screen, tap Restore purchases. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account.

Can I get the dictionary data?

Yes. Settings → Acknowledgements → Export the dictionary. The database is shared under CC BY-SA 4.0.
